Who we are

This service is operated by Jeff Fuhrman (trading as "Worth Applying™"), the seller and provider of the Worth Applying job-research service. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Jeff Fuhrman. For the personal data described below, Jeff Fuhrman is the data controller — meaning we determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

Information we collect

How we use it and our legal basis

Your information is used only to research, verify, score, and deliver your personalized job-search package, to communicate with you about your order, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Where applicable data protection law requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on:

Vendors that process data on our behalf

Technology tools may be used to organize research and assist with drafting. We do not send your résumé, personally identifying information, or full assessment responses to third-party AI providers as part of ordinary intake, checkout, or account handling. Every recommendation and customer-facing deliverable is personally reviewed, customized, and finalized before delivery. Experience and accomplishments in your materials are never intentionally fabricated.

Storage and access controls

Résumés are stored in private storage and are not publicly accessible. Access is limited to the operator, who reviews them to prepare your package. We use encryption in transit and standard access controls provided by our storage and database vendors. We do not currently publish audit-log reports.

Retention

Assessment responses, uploaded résumés, and order records are retained as long as needed to deliver the service and to comply with tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations (typically 24 months after final delivery). You may request deletion earlier via the Contact page; some records may be retained where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, withdraw consent, and receive a portable copy of your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to us via the Contact page. You can also clear your saved (in-progress) assessment answers from the assessment page itself at any time.
